Welcome to Gradly. By accessing or using our website, mobile experiences, and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Use of Services
Gradly provides an online learning platform where students can discover tutors, book live tutoring sessions, communicate with educators, and use learning tools such as Worksheets. Tutors and educators may create profiles, offer services, manage availability, and receive payments through the Platform where supported.
You may use Gradly only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use. You agree not to use the Platform for any unauthorized, fraudulent, or prohibited activity, including attempts to circumvent bookings, payments, or safety features.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account as a student, tutor, or other supported role. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and to keep your profile current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Tutor accounts may be subject to review and approval before appearing publicly or accepting bookings.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading activity
- Post, share, or transmit harmful, offensive, harassing, or inappropriate content in messages, profiles, or sessions
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or functionality of the Platform or other users' experience
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications, identity, or affiliation
- Solicit or accept payments outside the Platform to avoid fees, policies, or safeguards where in-platform booking is required
- Record, redistribute, or misuse session content without consent where prohibited by law or Platform rules
4. Tutoring Services & Independent Tutors
Tutors listed on Gradly are independent educators, not employees or agents of Gradly. We facilitate discovery, booking, messaging, and related tools but do not guarantee academic outcomes, grades, or admission results.
Session quality, scheduling, cancellations, and subject-matter instruction are primarily matters between the student and tutor, subject to our booking policies, refund rules (where applicable), and community standards.
5. Bookings, Payments & Payouts
When you book a session or purchase a service through Gradly, you agree to the pricing, availability, and cancellation terms shown at checkout or in your dashboard. Tutors agree to honor confirmed bookings and applicable payout requirements for supported regions.
Fees, taxes, refunds, and payout timing may vary by location and payment method. We may update payment processing features or supported countries from time to time.
6. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, software, logos, trademarks, and materials are owned by Gradly or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Platform materials without prior written permission, except as allowed for personal, non-commercial use of the services.
7. Limitation of Liability
Gradly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gradly and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of—or inability to use—the Platform, tutoring sessions, or third-party services linked from the Platform.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. When we make material changes, we may post the revised terms on this page and update the effective date below. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
