How do I find a tutor?

On a tutor's profile, choose a service (session type and duration), pick an available slot, and confirm your booking. For paid sessions you complete checkout securely before the booking is confirmed. Free intro sessions skip payment when the tutor offers them at no cost.

Each tutor sets their own services and rates. The price you see at checkout is for that service before any optional add-ons (such as session recording on paid bookings).

Can I message a tutor before booking?

It depends on the tutor's message settings. Tutors can allow messages from everyone, only students who have booked with them, or no one. If messaging is enabled, you can reach out from their profile or your Messages area after signing in.

What is a free intro session?

Some tutors offer a free introductory session so you can meet before committing to paid lessons. When a service is priced at zero, checkout does not require payment and the booking is confirmed once scheduled.

On paid bookings, you may be able to add an optional session recording at checkout for an additional fee. If you select it, a recording can be made available after the session ends, subject to the session completing successfully.

Paid sessions are processed securely at checkout through our payment partner (Stripe). You pay when you book, and you receive a confirmation with session and payment details.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes. Students and tutors can cancel from the booking in the dashboard. Refunds depend on who cancelled, when the session was scheduled, and whether the session had already started—our automated policy calculates the outcome.

What refund do I get if I cancel before the session?

If you cancel before the lesson starts, your refund percentage depends on how far in advance you cancel: more than 24 hours before start—100% refund; more than 6 hours—80%; more than 2 hours—50%; 2 hours or less—25%. Refunds are returned to your original payment method when applicable.

What if my tutor cancels?

If your tutor cancels before the session, you receive a full refund of what you paid for that booking. Late tutor cancellations may also include account credit under our policy.

Can I reschedule a session?

Yes. Either you or your tutor can propose a new date and time. Each booking allows a limited number of reschedules (up to two combined). Once the other party accepts, the session time updates and you are notified by email and in the platform.

If the tutor does not join within the grace period after the scheduled start, the session may be marked as a tutor no-show. You are typically entitled to a full refund, and you may receive additional account credit under our policy.
