User Agreement & Acceptable Use Policy

Welcome to Gradly ("we", "us", "our"). This User Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms under which you ("you", "user") are allowed to access and use Gradly.com and any related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account or using the Platform in any capacity, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
1. Purpose of the Platform
Gradly is a social networking platform designed for students, educators, and professionals to connect around shared academic and career interests. The platform is built for respectful, productive, and meaningful interactions in academic communities.
2. Your Responsibilities
By using Gradly, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information during registration and while updating your profile.
- Use the platform only for lawful and academic-related purposes.
- Respect the rights, privacy, and dignity of others.
- Be accountable for the content you post or share.
- Protect your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
a) Post or Share Harmful Content
- Hate speech, threats, harassment, or bullying
- Pornographic, obscene, or violent content
- Discriminatory content based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, or nationality
b) Engage in Malicious Behavior
- Spamming or flooding communities with irrelevant or promotional material
- Phishing, spreading malware, or attempting to hack any Gradly system
- Impersonating other users, individuals, or institutions
c) Violate Academic Integrity
- Sharing or requesting solutions for active exams, assignments, or confidential academic content
- Plagiarizing content or violating intellectual property laws
d) Use for Commercial Exploitation
- Selling goods or services without Gradly's permission
- Advertising or affiliate marketing schemes not explicitly allowed
e) Circumvent Platform Rules
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate engagement
- Attempting to bypass bans, blocks, or moderation decisions
4. Content Ownership and Responsibility
You own the content you post, but by submitting it on Gradly, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, use, and promote it on the platform.
Gradly does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any user-generated content. Users are solely responsible for their contributions.
5. Moderation & Enforcement
Gradly reserves the right to:
- Remove or edit content that violates this Policy
- Warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts based on behavior
- Limit access to certain features or communities as needed
- Report illegal content or activity to law enforcement
Content flagged by users will be reviewed in accordance with our Content Moderation Policy.
6. Reporting Violations
If you witness behavior or content that violates this Policy, please report it using the in-platform tools or email us at abuse@gradly.com. Your report will be reviewed promptly and confidentially.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access without notice for serious violations. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email. Continued use of Gradly after changes implies acceptance of the revised policy.
