Community Guidelines

Welcome to Gradly!

We're building a safe and inspiring platform for students, educators, and professionals to connect, collaborate, and grow together. These Community Guidelines outline the standards we expect all users to follow while using Gradly.

By participating in any community, space, post, event, or conversation on Gradly, you agree to these guidelines.

1. Be Respectful

Treat all users with kindness and respect — regardless of background, identity, or beliefs.

  • Disagree thoughtfully and constructively.
  • Do not harass, bully, threaten, or attack others.
  • Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language will not be tolerated.

2. Stay on Topic & Add Value

Gradly is built around shared academic and professional interests. Keep conversations meaningful and relevant.

  • Post in the correct community or space.
  • Avoid spamming or flooding threads with off-topic content.
  • Support your arguments with facts or lived experiences.

3. No Harmful or Inappropriate Content

Do not share content that is:

  • Sexually explicit, violent, or graphic
  • Promoting or glorifying self-harm, suicide, or substance abuse
  • Encouraging illegal activity

Such content will be removed, and repeat offenders may be banned.

4. Respect Academic Integrity

Gradly is not a place to cheat or solicit cheating.

  • Do not share answers to ongoing exams, assignments, or tests.
  • Do not post plagiarized content or misrepresent others' work as your own.
  • Always give credit where it's due.

5. Protect Your Privacy & Others'

  • Never share your password or sensitive personal information publicly.
  • Do not post others' private information without their consent (e.g., names, addresses, contact details, or private messages).

6. Avoid Promotion & Spam

  • Do not use Gradly to promote products, services, or websites unless invited by the community.
  • Referral or affiliate links, pyramid schemes, or self-promotion without value-added context are not allowed.
  • Academic or relevant event announcements must follow community posting rules.

7. Report Issues Responsibly

Help us keep Gradly safe.

  • Use the report button or email abuse@gradly.com to flag content that violates these guidelines.
  • Do not abuse reporting tools to target individuals or suppress valid content.

8. Enforcement & Violations

We take these guidelines seriously. Violations may result in:

  • Content removal
  • Warnings or temporary suspension
  • Permanent account ban
  • Referral to law enforcement (in extreme cases)

We reserve the right to moderate content and behavior at our discretion.

9. Lead with Empathy

This platform is built for students and learners — many of whom are still growing, exploring, and figuring things out.

  • Encourage curiosity and learning.
  • Support each other's growth.
  • Lead with empathy, always.
